Building behind Borough Hall

 

The Public Works Department covers the following departments and areas:

Streets & Roads Department
Repairing potholes, street sweeping, signage, tree trimming, line painting, and grass cutting. Streets are routinely swept, weather permitting, every Wednesday

Water Department
Operation & maintenance of water treatment, distribution system, water main repairs, water meter repairs & readings and Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) and all NJDEP reporting.

Buildings & Grounds
Maintenance of all Borough owned buildings and property.

Trash and Recycling

Trash & Recycling receptacles should go out the night before pick up and must be a minimum of 3 feet from other items including cars, poles, and carts.

Chipper

Collects brush - Every Other Thursday, January through September

This is for occasional tree trimming only. The chipper remains in one location for no more than 15 minutes. Nothing more than 4" in diameter will be accepted. Please place all cut ends laying in the same direction at the curb.

If you hire a contractor to trim your trees, you must arrange for that contractor to dispose of the brush. It will not be picked up by the Borough.
