Small Cities Housing Rehab Grant

Small Cities Housing Rehab Forgivable & Deferred Loan

The Small Cities Housing Rehabilitation Forgivable & Deferred Loan Program is available for low and moderate income homeowners in Woodstown and Pilesgrove.  The program is used to make improvements on your home.  After 6 years, 50% of the total amount is forgiven (i.e. convert to a grant).  The remaining 50% of the amount is placed as a lien on the property and requires no payments and does not accrue any interest (this 50% is deferred).  When the applicant chooses to sell their home, the remaining 50% balance would then be repaid.

Please see the income guidelines in the attachments below.  If you qualify and would like to apply, please complete the application form.  Woodstown residents may submit the application in person to the Municipal Clerk's Office, 25 West Ave, Woodstown, NJ 08098. Pilesgrove residents may submit the application in person to their Municipal Clerk's Office, 1180 Route 40, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098.

The grant is administered by the Borough's grant writer Mark Blauer.  You may also submit your application directly to him.  Once the application is submitted, all further communication will be with Mr. Blauer at:
