Ned Shimp is responsible for stray or lost animals within the Borough.  If an owner loses their animal and it has been registered at the Borough Hall, Ned will be able to track it back to the owner by using the tag number. If an animal is seen loose please call right away to Ned or the Borough Hall and we can make sure the situation gets handled as quickly as possible.  Also,  if there are any issues with animals that do not meet our guidelines listed in our Borough Ordinances then he would be the one to call.  

Reasons besides  a lost or stray animal to call Ned:

  • Animal causes harm to someone 
  • Animal causes damage to property
  • Animal has no leash
  •  Dogs that barks continuously or in any way disturbs the peace and quiet of the residents of the Borough of Woodstown.
