Water Bill Information

Water
Water Meters are read in January of each year. The bill runs a calendar year and is a minimum of 40,000 gallons that will be used during the current year and any excess that was used the previous year.
  • A minimum water bill is currently $425.00 per year which is payable quarterly on the 1st of February, May, August and November.
  • There is a 10 day grace period for payments before interest is charged retroactive to the first of the month at a rate of 18% per annum.
  • Checks should be made payable to the Woodstown Water Department.
  • When selling your home, a final meter reading and search should be completed to avoid any excess that you are currently using being billed to the buyer. The cost for a search is $10.00.

  WATER BILL UPDATE 2026

Due to the transition of the water system to the Woodstown Borough Municipal Utilities Authority (WBMUA), updates to the water billing structure are required. These updates are taking additional time to implement, and as a result, water bills will be issued later than usual this year. Water bills are expected to be calculated and mailed in February. The billing due date and applicable grace period will be adjusted to account for this delay. We appreciate your patience as these changes are completed to ensure accurate billing.
