Welcome to the Historic Borough of Woodstown
WATER BILL UPDATE 2/9/2026 Due to the transition of the water system to the Woodstown Borough Municipal
Utilities Authority (WBMUA), updates to the water billing structure are
required. These updates are taking additional time to implement, and as a
result, water bills will be issued later than usual this year.
Water bills are expected to be calculated and mailed in April.
The billing due date and applicable grace period will be adjusted to account
for this delay.
We appreciate your patience as these changes are completed to ensure
accurate billing. SHRED EVENT The Borough of Woodstown will be hosting a shred event on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 9am until 12pm or until the truck reaches capacity, whichever is first. Please click here for more information. The County will also be having 2 Shred Events this year, Saturday, March 21, 2026 and Saturday, November 21, 2026. Click here for more information on their event. A map of the set up can be found here.
A REMINDER FROM THE SALEM COUNTY IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY
Li-ion batteries should NOT be disposed of in household trash or recycling bins! Most Lowes, Home Depot and Staples stores have collection bins for high-energy, rechargeable, cellphone, and single use batteries. The Battery Network (formerly call2recycle) has a drop off location tool, searchable by zip code: www.batterynetwork.org/locator/ CHIPPING STARTED ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 8, 2026 ON A CALL IN BASIS. Chipping will occur every other Thursday through September. Call Public Works at 856-769-2485 and leave a message with your name, address, and phone number to be added to the list. They do not call back unless there is an issue. This is for occasional tree trimmings and fallen small branches.
