Li-ion batteries should NOT be disposed of in household trash or recycling bins! Most Lowes, Home Depot and Staples stores have collection bins for high-energy, rechargeable, cellphone, and single use batteries. The Battery Network (formerly call2recycle) has a drop off location tool, searchable by zip code: www.batterynetwork.org/locator/ Large Item Pickup The disposal of large items will be the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month. To schedule a pick up, provide the Clerk's office with your name, phone number, address, and a description of what is to be picked up, along with $35 (cash or check only) per item, no later than 2pm the Thursday before pick up.
